The X2 Transponder Direct Power is the standard in car racing. Our X2 Direct Power Transponder is permanently installed on your vehicle and is therefore charged by the vehicle's battery. You can use X2 transponders on any track where you used the old AMB transponder. X2 is compatible with MYLAPS Timing Systems.
The X2 Also has BATTERY BACKUP so you can use for up to 5-Days on vehicles WITHOUT a direct-power hookup. This means you can use it on a race car, and swap it to your race bike and not worry about running extra wires and adding more weight!
Works on all decoders from MyLaps, including older TranX3, as well as Flex and X260 systems.
New with X2 is the X2 RaceKey. The RaceKey helps you activate your transponder and manage your subscription. With the Direct Power upgrade, the LED lights on the RaceKey show various notifications such as battery and subscription statuses.
Unlimited warranty during active subscription - Subscription can be renewed at any time as long as it does not lapse

Your MYLAPS transponder or chip comes with warranty and insurance. It covers damage as a result of accident or fire – but not theft or loss.
This means MYLAPS guarantees that the device keeps working and is in good order.
If you have an X2 transponder, Flex transponder or ProChip with a valid subscription, we provide an unlimited warranty
as long as you have an active subscription, under some conditions. Should any problems occur during normal use – as described in the manual –
MYLAPS will repair or replace your transponder free of charge.
