First Race, First Win for the MotoMike.ca Sponsored Calabogie-Spec Miata!
May 4th, 2019 marked the inaugural running of the Calabogie-Spec Miata Challenge (CSMC) at Calabogie Motorsports Park, in Calabogie Ontario Canada.
The MotoMike Canada sponsored TWOth Autosport A41 Driver Development #41 Miata started the season off with a win in the series' opening race!
Running short-track configuration at Calabogie Motorsports Park for the series opener, and with a field of 9 similarly prepared Mazda Miatas raring to go, it was a first place green-to-checkers run for the team.
After running strong in the first part of the race, the other TWOth Autosport entry, #38 piloted by Owen Clarke, ran into a spot of trouble mid-way through the race and finished out of the points.
Second place went to Steve Hulaj in car #6, while Richard Muise (not pictured) came home 3rd in the #59.
The Calabogie-Spec Miata Challenge is a new series for 2019, and runs in conjunction with the track's Platinum Challenge classes.
